<br />Neither generally comes first. Where did you even get that idea?Cancer doesn&#8217;t cause a fever and unless you have a later stage cancer involving the digestive system, you probably won&#8217;t have any weight loss. I&#8217;ve met many people this past year with cancer and the only one with any weight loss was an old man with stomach cancer that had metastasized to ther organs. He was in a very advanced stage and didn&#8217;t live much longer.</p>

<br />Great.i was a pescetarian myself some years ago..take steamed fish with oatmeal for dinner(you may season it with pepper and a drizzle of sesame oil, and do add eggplants and carrots by the side)&#8230;do stick to your regular dose of veggies n fruit&#8230;do keep a limit on soy products because too much soy raises estrogen in your blood and that will be enough to limit your body from burning excess fat..if you are a woman trying to get pregnant or simply a person who appreciates high metabolism,please take my advice seriously. Progesterone is a female hormone that exists in men too, but the testicles can convert it to testosterone.High testosterone/Progesterone levels improve metabolism and also improve the alertness of the brain..estrogen isnt like that..it is dangerous if it is in high density in your blood..and the bad news is that the strength of estrogen raises when there is too much sugar in the blood OR TOO MUCH FAT IN THE BODY. Estrogen dominance is the root of all weight loss problems&#8230;there are no foods on earth to induce progesterone, so the only way to cut down estrogen in the blood is via regular exercise. Even 20 minutes , 3 times a week of cardio workout will work wonders. If you hate sweat, then try something more internal like yoga and pilates.Sweat is external excretion. Yoga/Pilates helps the body excrete from within,so you dont sweat much,but it works!try to take home made replacements like fresh fruit juice mixed with non-fat yoghurt  or muesli occasionally so you still get a good balance of amino acids.Trust me friend- There is no short cut to a better and healthier body, but hard work will pay off!</p>

<br />percent of body fat is more important, not weight.  if weight was more important then most bodybuilders would be considered overweight.  weight loss pills usually dont work and if they do they arent good for the heart and more than likely you will gain all that weight back when off the pills&#8230;</p>

<br />If you are considering the surgery, why are you asking if you can get the same results following the same diet? Surgery is the last option for those who are seriously overweight, and ALL other methods have failed. It sounds like you want to try and change your diet, which is good. If you have not tried diet and exercise, then you should. This surgery is dangerous, and full of risks.<br />
Spend the time exercising and eating healthy food. It took a long time for you to put on the weight, so it is going to take a long time to take it off. Just be patient and you will be rewarded for your efforts.<br />
They give you very strict instructions about what you can, and cannot eat after surgery. For instance, you cannot drink and eat at the same time. You cannot eat anything that contains huge amounts of sugar, or fat. At first you are limited to a liquid diet, then you are allowed things like jello, or other soft foods.<br />
You must also consider the consequences of having this type of surgery done, not just short term, but think long term, in the future. The majority of people who have this surgery do have some sort of complications, and they do gain a lot of the weight back. If you have not addressed the emotional aspect of why you overeat, this is probably not the best option for you.<br />
Weigh your options carefully, and make a VERY educated decision. Speak with many people who have had this done. Ask them all kinds of ?&#8217;s. I know many people who have had this done, and sure it gives you the results you want very quickly, but for what they have gone through, it isn&#8217;t close to being worth it. Good luck.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Warm weather is just around the corner and would like to lose a few pounds. So what is out there at our local stores (GNC, Vitamin Shoppe, etc) that i can take to help me increase my weight loss?<br />
<br />Here&#8217;s a few tips that work for me:<br />
I spend a long time in front of a computer screen. Often I just stare at the monitor for up to 15 seconds while a page load or a document gets printed or whatever it is that the computer is doing.<br />
When this is happening I lift my hands up over my head and then bring them down. I keep on doing this until the computer has finished whatever it is doing and it requires some input.,. from me.<br />
I do similar exercises like getting up from the chair and sitting down again. I sometimes might be standing up and might type a few sentences while standing.<br />
Combine this with drinking only water and I am doing something to lose weight. It is not much but doing it all the time it does help in losing weight.<br />
I might swap this sometimes. I might decide that I will not do the arm exercise for  a week but that week I will get off the lift two floor below and walk up the last two floors.<br />
So long as when I go to bed at night I can say that that day I have done something  extra to burn some weight, I am happy.</p>

I&#8217;m pear shaped so it&#8217;s mostly in my hips and buttocks. I have a desk job so I sit a lot and I&#8217;m always too tired feeling to work out at night. I&#8217;ve been on every diet under the sun to only gain it all back. I&#8217;ve tried numerous excersises also. Over the counter weight loss pills or energy pills give me a racing heart. When I do loose weight I get the saggy belly that hangs between the legs when I sit and bend so how would I be able to find out how would be the best way to loose weight effectivly for myself and my body type and keep the sagging away. Please help.<br />
<br />ok, first&#8230;.stay away from the &#8216;diet pills&#8217; &#8212; they are ALL CRAP, EVERY ONE OF THEM.<br />
they all say, &#8216;use with ANY sensible diet and exercise program&#8217;&#8230;and the reason for this is that it is the sensible diet and exercise programs that are responsible for the weight loss, not the stupid pills.</p>
<p>as for sensible diet part &#8212; and i&#8217;m not being funny here (it&#8217;s what works) stop eating so much. most of us have 2 double whoppers with cheese, or super size our meals etc. Just stop eating as much &#8212; 2 hot dogs instead of four, 1 whopper instead of 2, reduce calories gradually but noticeable. After a week or so, start throwing in the baked potato or salad instead of fries etc.<br />
Just start eating less and less, then start eating healthier. Find good healthy things you can eat a lot of. And don&#8217;t worry about the &#8216;fat pig&#8217; comments or looks &#8212; don&#8217;t do it because of that, do it for your other reasons &#8212; your life &#8212; you&#8217;re only 31 and have to live long and healthy to take care of your kids. </p>
<p>Work in the exercise program in whatever form you can &#8212; walk more (stairs instead of elevators, park a little further away and work), take walks with kids, pets, start doing floor exercises, plays sports with kids etc. You don&#8217;t have to join a gym or do 5 hrs of fitness a day &#8212; just more than you are now.</p>
<p>GOOD LUCK &#8212; eat less, eat healthy, start exercising, and exercise more.</p>

<p>Is there any way I can avoid weight loss in this situation?<br />
<br />you still will be able to eat whole foods. just chew with the opposite side of your mouth when you get the tooth pulled. and with braces you just have to be careful of certain foods. like super sticky, or hard foods<br />
caramels. apples, celery  etc.. you could always drink protein drinks<br />
or drinks like ensure to get vitamins.</p>
